About Baakisimba Dance

Nankasa, Baakisimba and Muwogola are royal traditional dances from Buganda region that originated in the palace of the king of Buganda. The dance is accompanied with the instruments as well as the music depending on the rhythmic structure.

They are three major movements in this dance which include Baakisimba, Nankasa and Muwogola. This dance displays the beauty of women in Buganda and the fact that they are the most relaxed women in the world.
